Young realtors develop first waterfront homes

EXCORE’S PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXEcutive officer, Celedonio A. Pile, and executive vice president and chief operating officer, Ma. Charina S. Garcia, say contrary to the perception that land value is slowly depreciating, now is the best moment to acquire property.
The young developers say not only will land values pick up after the worldwide economic slumber, but it is now that prices of properties are reasonable.
Chay and Donnie are great optimists of their generation. They are making their way to becoming significant players with the giants of the real estate industry.
One of the projects of these two is the Mandara Waterfront Residences, a low density residential complex with only 216 units up for sale and compromised of 12 buildings with three different designs. Mandara is the first waterfront development in Metro Manila that is 30 meters away from the sea with a view of the coastal area, the Manila skyline and the great Manila Bay sunset. It is near the soon-to-rise Centennial City, a tourist destination that boasts a casino, entertainment center and commercial attractions in the heart of Roxas Boulevard, alongside the largest shopping haven, SM Mall of Asia and Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
“Very few people can claim that they have a waterfront residence, which is just few meters away from the bay area. And more importantly, Mandara comes with the right location, right price, right people and the perfect element,” Garcia proudly explains.
In building this project, urban renewal and development of the country’s coastal areas, especially in the Metro are Chay and Donnie’s priorities among many other goals. It is Chay and Donnie’s dream to begin a change that will benefit not only the developers, buyers, but also the whole nation.
“Mandara is one of the best things that has happened to the real estate industry here,” Donnie noted while adding, “this project is a product of an aspiration to create the likes of the famous seaside or coastal developments in United States like Miami; L’Auberge Del Mar in Southern California; the Scarborough in Australia; or the Murcia which neighbors Costa Almeria in Spain.”
Mandara Waterfront Residences is under Landmark Communities Inc., one of the sister companies of Excore Inc. – both under the leadership and management of Chay and Donnie.
Landmark has been in the business for only more than two years.
“The people behind Landmark Communities Inc. are strong pillars of the real estate business in the country today and with their support, the company and our buyers are in good hands,” Chay quips.
According to them, Mandara is going to be another first in the Philippines and will eventually serve its purpose – to raise the quality of urban living and create a new definition of luxury.
