Eton Launched Sta. Rosa Real Estate Project

LUCIO Tan-owned Eton Properties Philippines Inc. yesterday launched South Lake Village, a 150-hectare mixed-used township project in Sta. Rosa City in Laguna.

South Lake Village, the first phase of the company’s 10-year Eton City Sta. Rosa project, launches the development of 18 residential island lots surrounded by 35-hectare man-made lake.

Eton Properties president Danilo Ignacio said each island would have eight to 12 residential lots of about 1,000 square meters each.

Ignacio said the island lots will be sold between P10,000 and P12,000 per sq.m.

“This is one-of-a-kind development, something that no developer has done yet in the Philippines.  It will offer not only lake front lots but actual lots and island homes,” company assistant vice president and Eton City general manager Alex Jazmines said.

Dubbed as the Makati of the South, Eton City Sta. Rosa will be developed in over a 10-year period.

Phase two involves the construction of another high-end residential village while phase three entails the development of central business district that houses shopping mall and office buildings for the business process outsourcing firms.

Phase four, on the other hand, involves the development of an 18-hole golf course and village.

While several mixed-used development have sprouted in the south of Metro Manila, Eton City enjoys strategic location compared with other developments in Sta. Rosa.

Sta. Rosa is viewed as the next growth area as it currently hosts several industrial estates, large-scale firms, and multinational companies, commercial centers as well as first-class housing projects.

Eton City Sta. Rosa is the ninth project to be launched by the company since it was transformed into a property firm 10 months ago.
